Job Description:
As Head of Marketing, you will play a pivotal role in shaping Manix Ltd’s brand identity, leading the marketing team, and driving growth across digital, in-store, and omnichannel platforms.
You’ll oversee strategic marketing initiatives, brand storytelling, digital/e-commerce growth, and customer engagement, ensuring our brands stay top of mind in Kenya’s competitive retail space.
Key Responsibilities
· Develop and execute strategic marketing plans (ATL & BTL) for all brands under Manix Ltd.
· Conduct market research and competitor analysis to inform tactical and strategic decisions.
· Analyze consumer behavior, define customer personas, and drive customer acquisition and retention.
· Manage and optimize the marketing budget, ensuring maximum ROI.
· Develop impactful promotional materials to support sales and brand awareness.
· Lead website content strategy, localizing global content and creating original assets to strengthen brand identity.
· Oversee PR and CSR initiatives to enhance brand visibility and reputation.
· Drive the growth of new and existing brands by developing strategic launch plans, strengthening market positioning, and implementing targeted campaigns to boost sales of slow-moving items.
· Provide leadership by translating company objectives into clear KPIs and guiding the marketing team to achieve them.
· Train, motivate, and set performance goals for the marketing team.
· Foster collaboration between sales, marketing, and inventory teams to ensure seamless execution.
· Contribute to quarterly and annual business planning.
· Align sales and marketing efforts to increase brand awareness, including soft launches of new collections, products, and stores.
· Ensure a strong, consistent brand message across all marketing channels, improving quality and turnaround time.
· Increase website traffic and conversion rates.
· Maintain strong relationships with brand partners, ensuring compliance with brand requirements and reporting standards.
· Oversee in-store branding and POP materials, ensuring alignment with brand aesthetics.
· Work closely with retail teams to enhance the customer shopping experience.
Qualifications & Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
· 5+ years of experience in digital marketing, brand management, and strategic planning.
· Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to manage and motivate teams.
· Highly organized with a problem-solving mindset and keen attention to detail.
· Expertise in CRM, negotiation, and market analysis.
· Deep understanding of consumer behavior and industry trends.
· Experience in the fashion and retail industry is a plus, but not mandatory.
