Overview

Develop and execute strategies to sell all Next media digital assets

 

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Digital Asset Sales:

Develop and execute strategies to sell all Next Media digital assets, including but not limited to websites, social media platforms, big tech services, Afromobile, and media buying on top websites in the country.

  1. Revenue Generation:

Meet and exceed digital sales targets to contribute significantly to the overall revenue goals of Next Media.

  1. Client Acquisition:

Identify and pursue new business opportunities with potential clients interested in digital advertising and marketing services.

  1. Client Relationship Management:

Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring their digital advertising needs are met and exceeded.

  1. Market Analysis:

Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies in the digital advertising space.

  1. Collaboration with Internal Teams:

Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, content creation, and digital production, to ensure seamless execution of digital campaigns.

  1. Proposal Development:

Develop compelling and customized digital advertising proposals based on client needs and industry trends.

  1. Performance Metrics:

Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success and impact of digital sales initiatives.

  1. Negotiation and Closing:

Lead negotiations with clients and close deals that align with Next Media’s digital sales objectives.

  1. Reporting:

Provide regular reports on digital sales performance, market insights, and recommendations for improvement.

  1. Training and Development:

Stay updated on industry best practices and technologies.

Provide training and development opportunities for the digital sales team.

Competencies

  • Demonstrated experience in sales and revenue generation for a business entity.
  • Comprehensive work knowledge of planning, organizational structure, budgeting, administrative operations, and resourcing.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, with the ability to represent the organization externally across a wide range of stakeholders and constituencies
  • Strong relationship builder with the ability finds common ground, build consensus and strengthen collaboration among diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to successfully navigate in a fast-paced, outcomes-driven and entrepreneurial environment
