Job Purpose
The supervisor acts as a role model for the Modern Trade merchandising Section in the Sales and Marketing Department. They guide the merchandisers on how to execute their duties according to the standards set by the management. The supervisor’s presence should be felt in the field and he or she should keep a good image. The Key accounts supervisors sort out any pending issues by ensuring customer satisfaction throughout a continuous business relationship
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- They should be able to see trends in the market and forward ideas to the management.
- Ensuring availability of Key items hand in hand with the sales Executive.
- Ensuring that stock is always available on shelf at the right time and in the right/sufficient quantities
- Following up on deliveries made by the sales rep and distributor
- Generating orders daily and ensuring it is supplied
- Coordinating supplies between the depot and Key accounts outlets.
- Ensuring quality and fresh products on shelf always.
Floor issues
- Products should be sold at the company recommended retail price and price tags should be visible
- Eye/hand level visibility that must be maintained it is not a one-day show
- Know your product and its content so that you can convince people to buy it and list it in their shops. Explaining all the benefits
- Create floor displays around FIFO and ensuring all short expiries are retrieved based on the short expiry policy and coordinate with the supplier for retrieval. Resort to Head of department if necessary.
- Maintaining positive and long-lasting relationships with line supervisors and supermarket managers to generate more sales volume and profits
Market research
- Notifying about competitor’s activities: what are they doing better than us and what are we doing better than them?
- Monitor price changes in the market and forecast the impact of such activities
- Monitoring Riham products shelf off take and generate an analysis regarding the same
- Analyzing aspects of slow-moving items
- Suggesting promotional activities and mechanisms that could be used to promote our products
Customer service
- Liaising with supermarkets, stores personnel, suppliers (distributors) & line attendants
- Interacting with supermarkets in order to get our strengths & weaknesses and respond to their concerns accordingly
- Interacting with end users and raising awareness of the quality of our brands
Preparing reports
- Live location at 08:30am and 5:30pm evidenced with pictures of activities.
- Daily activities report within the scheduled time frame
- Reports on improvements and declines in route performance and suggestions.
- Reports about merchandisers efficiency and sales Executives
- Submitting route plan and honoring the route, door to door by visiting all outlets on the route and ensuring company policy is observed.
Team efficiency
- Monitoring live location early in the morning and ensuring the route is being honored
- Ensuring that the team uses GPS map camera when reporting their daily activities
- Performing random location checks
- Giving detailed reports about how to mentor merchandisers and prepare them for training
- Having harmony in the team and ensuring that merchandisers know what is expected of them
- Training of merchandisers in order to leave a positive impact
- Ensuring that merchandisers are using the daily checklist and are complying to the company’s various policies.
- Prepare and participate in all corporate events acquired by the management
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s in business studies with Major in Marketing, Public Administration and Business Administration or equivalent from a reputable Institution.
Experience:
At least 3-5 years hands-on in the Supervisory role in Sales and Marketing in a busy working environment.
Familiar with the sale of beverages and a problem solver with high customer care services.
Basic knowledge of how sales are done in the market with interpersonal skills.

Job title: Key Accounts Manager

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- In charge of all merchandisers, promoters, supervisors, key account suppliers and debt collector and ensuring that their respective job descriptions are being implemented and practiced
- Responsible for ensuring availability and visibility of the whole Riham portfolio in key account outlets in sufficient quantities based on the rate of sale
- The key accounts consist of hypermarkets, tier 2/3 supermarkets, hotels, restaurants, bars, cafes, resorts, fuel stations, government organizations and corporate institutions
- Ensuring timely listing of new products across all key account outlets
- Negotiating with buyers for better visibility, fridge placement, gondolas, branding and offers
- Having a yearly promotional plan calendar and a plan for all major events such as back to school, Eid, Christmas, Independence Day and others
- Following the rebate structure and joint business plans with the outlets in order to gain the maximum sales volume possible
- Following the companies short expiry policy and implementing it in order to maintain product freshness on shelf
- Giving enough time to all outlets and adding value in all outlets visited
- Striving for fridge placements per category so that we can maximise visibility across all outlets
- Marketing research and competitor analysis in order to give management and insight into the effectiveness of their promotional campaigns and how we can counter their activities
- Working on strategy plans rather than on reactions from the market and its players
- Being a brand ambassador by exhibiting the values of the company and ensuring customer satisfaction at all times. Maintain good relationship with all levels of people in the outlets
- Maintain existing and improve company portfolio by recruiting new accounts before they open in order to book space on shelf and for fridges
- Open/maintain corporate and institutional clients such as corporate companies, government organizations, banks, NGOs, hospitals, universities and schools
- increasing on the product range that customers take from Riham by selling additional SKUs to accounts that have been opened
- High level of customer care and negotiation skills in order to finalize and close big deals
- Training, motivating and mentoring the team below you in order to achieve the company’s goals and objectives
- Monitor our products in every existing selling point as well as laying strategies for better offtake/consumption by interacting with buyers and consumers
- Following up on orders from key institutions and liasing with other departments for payments and supply
- Have a solid database for all customers that exist with all contact details and referrals
- Protecting company assets (especially gondolas and fridges) in and ensuring that they are being effective and productive with zero tolerance for misuse and under stocking
- Sending daily reports, having weekly meetings and preparing monthly presentations for management assessment
- You should not disclose any information to competitors regarding our products, prices, business processes and procedures or sales volume
- You are expected to achieve the expected minimum sales target of at least 90% of your total target. Failure to achieve this target for three consecutive months may lead to termination.

- Always portray the best company image by dressing appropriately and keep neat and smart.
- Taking alcohol is not acceptable during working hours.
- Handle and take good care of company property like cars, phones and laptops and any costs for damages and repairs due to negligence will be charged on you.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, business, or related field preferably.
- Four (4) years’ previous experience in customer support, client services, sales, or a related field
- Must have experience in product activation

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Honoring the route, door to door
- Generating orders by using the daily checklist.
- Ensuring brand availability in enough qualities.
- Ensuring Brand visibility.
- Maintaining good relationships with the supplier.
- Dusting products and cleaning where necessary.
- Taking care of company fridges and reporting misuse.
- Having correct tags following company RRP
- Maintaining share of shelf to occupy the largest portion of shelf in all competing categories
- Fighting for more facings and not allowing competitors.
- Notifying the company about competitors’ information and activities
- Interacting with customers and end users.
- Maintain and service allocated outlets /Sales points.
- Checking for short expiries and monitoring products in all assigned outlet
- Uphold confidentiality of company information
- Submit daily reports and route plans with live location
- Provide quality customer service and attend to all customer needs and concerns
- Take daily stock of available products using checklist.
- Receive goods from supplier
- Any other duties assigned by management
- The ending time for one’s daily activities depends on route completion. merchandisers are advised to have good relationships with everyone in their market and this is not limited to supervisors and suppliers.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
- A minimum of a diploma in Marketing science, bachelor’s degree in BBA OR BCOM with a major in marketing or any other related relevant discipline from a reputable university
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role in a busy environment.
