Graduate Trainee – Customer Relations Executive

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic graduate to join our dynamic team as a Graduate Trainee in Client Relations. The graduate Trainee will work closely with experienced professionals to develop their skills and contribute to the success of our department and organization.

Job Summary

The Graduate Trainee will be responsible for provision and management of Smart customer service levels to Smart customers, that is the Scheme Administrators (payers). This includes value positioning of the Smart offering to maximize return on investment for each Customer.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities

Client Relationship Management:

  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients and key personnel within customer companies.
  • Attending meetings with clients to build relationships with existing accounts.
  • To implement, support and monitor Smart system availability /Use by customers and ensure reliability by Customers.
  • Proactively identify and address client needs and concerns. Identify, guide and jointly work with assigned teams in crafting redress methodologies to address customer enquiries including implementation of issues handling life cycle in line with SLAs.
  • Liaising with internal departments to ensure client need is fulfilled effectively including collaboration in passing of leads to ensure retention and growth.
  • Provide excellent customer service and support.
  • Carry-out and participate in user acceptance testing for systems/enhancement intended for deployment as may be deemed relevant by the department.

Business Development:

  • Grow portfolio top line to the set targets through retention & acquisition of new accounts on existing customers and new ones.
  • Assist in generating new business opportunities.
  • Contribute to sales and marketing initiatives.
  •  Conduct market research and analysis.

Administrative Tasks:

  •   Prepare client reports and presentations.
  • Work jointly with finance and support in collecting revenue to ensure compliance with the Company’s credit policy
  • Attend identified trainings for the staff in the department and develop relevant knowledge and skills.
  • Maintaining a professional appearance, behavior, conduct and effectively work with peers in attainment of set departmental targets.
  • Any other duties assigned as may be deemed necessary.

 

Requirements

Qualifications
  •     Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  •   IT Proficiency especially in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  •   Having worked directly with customers and in sales is an added advantage.
