Psalms Food Industries Limited is a leading snacks manufacturing company in Uganda under the brand names Sumz and Afrikan Harvest.

Following our expansion, we are seeking a dynamic General Manager – Sales and Marketing-to lead our marketing strategy and drive growth for our brand and product portfolio.

Role Overview:

As the GM- Sales and Marketing you will:

Supervise the Sales and Marketing managers

Develop and execute marketing strategies to boost brand visibility, customer acquisition, and revenue growth.

Lead a high-performing marketing team and oversee brand management for Sumz and other products.

Plan and manage multi-channel campaigns (digital, social media, events, etc.) to maximize ROl.

Conduct market research, analyze trends, and use data-driven insights to inform decisions.

Track and report on KPls to measure sales and marketing success.

Coordinate effectively with other functions (Finance, HR, IT, Procurement,

Manufacturing and Operations) to achieve business goals

Qualifications:

  • A degree in Marketing, Business, or related field (MBA preferred)
  • 10+ years of marketing experience, with 5+
  • years in FMCG/food industry leadership.
  • Proven success in brand management, digital marketing, and campaign execution.
  • Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM, Google Analytics, and social media tools.
