GA Field Sales Representative

Key Responsibilities and Deliverables:

Sales and IQ Target Planning

  • Carry out sales route calls based on Permanent Journey Plan
  • Plan sell out target by SKU for each customer in keeping with overall tertiary sales target with the guidance of the IQ recommendations
  • Review at the end of each planned journey against target
  • Review product availability

Selling and Distribution

  • Achieve all tertiary sales targets for all assigned SKU’s through direct sales
  • Ensure that the TTS – Trading Terms (e.g., retail discs) are being utilized within the location
  • Achieve numeric distribution
  • Ensure in-store implementation of company merchandising and availability standards and cycle priorities
  • Work on the opportunities spotted during the store check
  • Implement POSM as per company standard Product Quality
  • Ensure proper stock rotation with customers e.g., move stocks from slow to fast moving shops to prevent expiry or damage
  • Ensure proper storage of products
  • Replace damaged product as per the trade returns policy

Customer Service

  • All customers in the territory must be visited on a specified date
  • Ensure customers are kept updated on the latest prices
  • Develop and maintain good trade relations & cooperation throughout the territory Administration
  • Maintain all sales administration records in an up-to-date, accurate and neat manner.
  • Submit specified reports on time – done through the mobility
  • Reconciliation of daily sales and company float.

Minimum Qualifications: Basic Certificate in sales & marketing or relevant field

Minimum Experience: 6 months or more experience in the FMCG Industry as a sales representative
