Food and Beverage Manager (Bar & Lounge Management)

Role Overview

We are seeking a proactive and detailed Food and Beverage Manager / Bar Manager (Contract Position) to oversee our food and beverage operations. The ideal candidate will ensure exceptional service, manage costs effectively and enhance customer satisfaction while maintaining compliance with health and safety regulations.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

1) Oversee daily food and beverage operations ensuring smooth service across all outlets.

2) Recruit, train and supervise the food and beverage staff.

3) Develop and implement menus and pricing strategies.

4) Ensuring bar operations run efficiently with strong knowledge of drink preparation and mixology.

5) Monitor inventory, procurement and cost control.

6) Ensure compliance with health, safety and hygiene regulations.

Requirements.

1) At least five (5) years of experience in food and beverage management and bar management

2) A Bachelor’s degree or a diploma in Hospitality management or a related field from a recognized institution.

3) Good leadership skills, impeccable communication skills and interpersonal skills.

4) Expertise in bar operations, should be able to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.

5) Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.

6) Outstanding customer service skills and ability to resolve issues effectively.

7) Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
