About This Role
We are excited to invite a Financial Accountant to join our finance team! In this role, you will play a crucial part in overseeing our finance operations while reporting directly to the Head of Finance. You will collaborate closely with various teams, including Commercial, Operations, and Product & Engineering, to ensure our financial processes run smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Reporting: Prepare timely and accurate monthly management reports and liaise with external auditors for annual audits.
- Treasury Management: Oversee liquidity management by ensuring timely settlements and sufficient liquidity for daily operations. Handle financing options (overdrafts, facilities, etc.) and reconcile financial transactions.
- Finance Operations: Manage vendor payments and other essential financial processes.
- Payroll & Taxes: Coordinate payroll activities and manage PAYE and other tax obligations.
What You Bring
- A Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in Accounting or Finance.
- A qualified accountant designation (e.g., ICAN, ACCA, CFA, CPA).
- 5+ years of relevant experience in a senior accounting or finance position within a technology or regulated environment.
- Expertise in IFRS accounting standards.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Strong ability to manage multiple finance initiatives concurrently.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, both internally across teams and externally with finance partners.
- Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks or Sage is preferred.
- Familiarity with logistics and supply chain is a plus.
