FINANCE OFFICER

LOCATION: NAIROBI

Responsibilities

  1. Record and barcode all assets in the asset register.
  2. Conduct regular physical asset verification.
  3. Monitor and review asset allocation.
  4. Ensure proper accounting and control of assets.
  5. Prepare regular asset status reports.
  6. Manage asset disposal processes.
  7. Maintain up-to-date inventory records.
  8. Conduct physical stock checks to match system records.
  9. Create and maintain financial records related to inventory.
  10. Prepare and forecast budgets.
  11. Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
  12. Record budget entries and perform monthly analysis.
  13. Process bank and Mpesa payments.
  14. Assist with VAT and WHVAT returns.

Qualifications & Experience

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  2. Proven experience as a Finance Officer or similar role, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
  3. Strong understanding of financial regulations and accounting principles.
  4. Experience with financial analysis, forecasting, and budgeting. Knowledge of financial reporting and data mining tools.
  5. Familiarity with ERP systems is a plus.
  6. High level of integrity and confidentiality.
