FINANCE OFFICER
LOCATION: NAIROBI
Responsibilities
- Record and barcode all assets in the asset register.
- Conduct regular physical asset verification.
- Monitor and review asset allocation.
- Ensure proper accounting and control of assets.
- Prepare regular asset status reports.
- Manage asset disposal processes.
- Maintain up-to-date inventory records.
- Conduct physical stock checks to match system records.
- Create and maintain financial records related to inventory.
- Prepare and forecast budgets.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Record budget entries and perform monthly analysis.
- Process bank and Mpesa payments.
- Assist with VAT and WHVAT returns.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Finance Officer or similar role, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong understanding of financial regulations and accounting principles.
- Experience with financial analysis, forecasting, and budgeting. Knowledge of financial reporting and data mining tools.
- Familiarity with ERP systems is a plus.
- High level of integrity and confidentiality.
