Job Title: Finance Officer

Job Description: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Finance Officer to join our team. The Finance Officer will be responsible for maintaining financial records, processing transactions, and ensuring the financial health of the organization. This role requires a high level of integrity, excellent analytical skills, and a deep understanding of financial regulations and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports. Ensure timely submission of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Budget Management: Assist in the preparation of the annual budget, monitor expenditures, and ensure that financial activities are aligned with the organization’s financial policies.
- Accounts Management: Oversee accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payment of invoices and proper management of receivables.
- Payroll Management: Administer payroll processes, ensuring accuracy in salary payments, tax withholdings, and benefits.
- Audit Coordination: Prepare for and facilitate both internal and external audits, providing all necessary documentation and information.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with financial regulations and accounting standards, including tax laws and reporting requirements.
- Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making, including variance analysis, forecasting, and financial modeling.
- Bank Reconciliation: Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy in financial records and resolve any discrepancies.
- Financial Advising: Provide financial advice and support to management, helping to shape financial strategy and decisions.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, ensuring they are easily accessible for review and audits.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. Professional qualifications such as CPA, ACCA, or CMA are preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a finance or accounting role.
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations, accounting principles, and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Excellent analytical skills with a high attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- High level of integrity and confidentiality.
