Job Purpose/Mission
This internship offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in financial accounting processes within a dynamic and fast-paced environment. The intern will work closely with our finance team and contribute to various aspects of financial reporting, analysis, and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Support the reconciliation of accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
- Aid in the analysis of financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
- Assist in conducting financial audits and compliance reviews as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure accurate and timely processing of financial transactions.
- Help maintain organized and up-to-date financial records and documentation.
- Support ad-hoc projects and tasks as assigned by the finance team.
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and financial concepts.
- Excellent analytical skills with keen attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
Qualifications:
- Fresh graduate with a degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Language(s):
- Good verbal and written communication in both:
- English
- Kiswahili
Technology:
- Proficiency in technology required for the role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software is a plus.
