Title:Finance Business Partner
Remuneration: Negotiable depending on candidate profile

Unifi Africa is a fast-growing financial technology company operating in Zambia, South Africa, Uganda, and Kenya. Unifi Uganda delivers personal lending products from physical branch and digital channels, utilizing internally generated software and lending products backed by IT and data analytics teams based in South Africa. Qualifications:

- Degree in Accounting, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field.
- CPA or MBA preferred.
- Five years of relevant experience in a mid-senior finance role.

Main Purpose:
Establish, enhance, and maintain a finance function that effectively supports both the department and the broader business.
Core Responsibilities:
- Analyze financial results, monitor variances, identify trends, and recommend actions to management.
- Produce financial reports and develop strategies for long-term financial goals.
- Maintain balance sheet accounts and manage cash flow planning.
- Conduct financial analysis and reporting.
- Design, implement, and manage financial projects.
- Provide insights and advice on business strategies.
- Serve as a liaison between finance and operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee balance sheet and operational reconciliations.
- Identify risks, process flaws, and improvement opportunities, escalating and documenting as necessary.
- Manage accounts affected by operational activities, including ad hoc tasks.
- Lead and develop the team to ensure efficient handling of operational requests.
- Manage banking relationships, including direct debits.
- Responsible for interaction with operations and operational software
- Oversee cash flow and treasury functions.
- Financial reporting and budgeting
- Provide financial support and enhance business skills.
