Finance and Operations Manager

As the Finance and Operations Manager, you’ll be at the core of our company’s operations, responsible for overseeing financial planning, operational processes, procurement, and team leadership. Your expertise will help drive the company’s growth and efficiency, ensuring profitability and seamless day-to-day operations across all departments.

Responsibilities

Financial Leadership & Strategy

  • Develop and implement financial strategies to drive profitability and business growth.
  • Oversee cash flow, expenses, and profit margins, ensuring financial health across all departments.
  • Supervise the accountant, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting (Income Statements, Balance Sheets, Cash Flow, and more).
  • Lead budget allocation, monthly variance analysis, and ensure financial KPIs align with company goals.

Operational Excellence

  • Monitor and improve procurement processes, inventory management, and cost-control systems.
  • Conduct regular operational reporting, offering actionable insights to enhance efficiency.
  • Collaborate with senior management to streamline operations and optimize resource distribution.

Growth & Strategy

  • Provide financial leadership and guidance to the CEO and leadership team.
  • Develop strategies for cost reduction, revenue growth, and business improvement.
  • Conduct financial risk analysis and proactively manage project budgets to ensure profitability.

Compliance & Audit

  • Ensure timely submission of all statutory filings, taxes, and regulatory returns.
  • Liaise with external auditors and ensure smooth audit preparation and execution.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Lead and mentor the finance and operations team, ensuring high performance and effective collaboration.
  • Support HR processes, employee engagement, and compliance with labor laws.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a managerial role overseeing both financial and operational functions, preferably in the construction or interior design industry.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with a proven track record in financial planning, procurement, and resource management.
  • Expertise in budgeting, financial reporting, and forecasting, with the ability to analyze and interpret financial data to inform business strategy.
  • Knowledge of procurement, logistics, and inventory management processes.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and strategic thinking abilities.
  • High level of attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
