Finance and Administration Manager

In this pivotal role, you will report directly to the Managing Director and be responsible for overseeing our financial management, administrative functions, and HR processes. Your expertise will be crucial in driving business growth and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.

What You’ll Do:

1. Administration & Resource Management

  • Office Management: Oversee office operations, including supplies, facilities, and equipment.
  • Documentation: Maintain filing systems, manage asset registry, and handle correspondence.
  • Tender Proposals: Compile technical proposals and manage purchase orders.

2. HR Administration

  • Onboarding & Records: Manage onboarding, maintain employee records, and handle HR documentation.
  • Payroll & Benefits: Process payroll, manage benefits, and ensure policy compliance.
  • Training & Safety: Coordinate training and manage workplace safety and wellness programs.

3. Financial Management

  • Analysis & Reporting: Analyze financial data, prepare reports, and develop growth strategies.
  • Budget Management: Prepare and oversee budgets, conduct variance analysis, and manage resources.

4. Accounting & Procurement

  • Bookkeeping: Handle ledger maintenance, invoicing, and payroll.
  • Procurement: Oversee procurement activities and personnel, managing and ensuring accurate and timely payments.

5. Tax Compliance

  • Regulations: Ensure tax compliance, prepare returns, and coordinate audits.

What We’re Looking For:

Technical Skills

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or Economics with 5 years of experience.
  • Experience: Proven experience in financial management within a construction firm.
  • Skills: Proficiency in MS Office and accounting software.
