Job Title: Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) Officer

Job Description
- Our client is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented EHS Officer with a specialization in environmental safety.
- This entry-level role will support the implementation and management of environmental safety programs, assist with regulatory compliance, and contribute to creating a safe and environmentally responsible workplace.
- The successful candidate will gain valuable experience while supporting senior HSE staff and learning best practices in environment, health and safety management.
Key Responsibilities
Support Environmental Safety Management:
Talent acquisition software
- Assist in implementing and monitoring environment, health and safety policies and procedures.
- Help conduct environmental risk assessments and audits under the guidance of senior HSE staff.
Regulatory Compliance Assistance:
- Support in maintaining up-to-date knowledge of environmental regulations and standards.
- Assist in preparing and organizing compliance documentation and reports for regulatory bodies.
Training and Awareness:
- Help organize and deliver training sessions on environment, health and safety topics to employees.
- Assist in promoting awareness of environment, health and safety practices through internal communications.
Incident Reporting and Management:
- Support investigations of environmental incidents and accidents, including data collection and preliminary analysis.
- Assist in documenting incidents and tracking corrective and preventive actions.
Administrative Support:
- Maintain records of environment, health and safety activities, including audits, inspections, and training sessions.
- Provide administrative support for environment, health and safety programs, including data entry and report preparation.
Stakeholder Communication:
- Assist in coordinating with internal departments and external stakeholders on environment, health and safety issues.
- Support in addressing environment, health and safety queries and providing general assistance as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field.
- 1 – 2 years of experience in environment, health and safety or a related role is preferred, but not required.
- Basic knowledge of environmental regulations and safety standards is advantageous
