
Job Description
The Entrepreneurship Program Coordinator will play a crucial role in managing and executing our entrepreneurship support programs. This position requires a highly motivated and organized individual with a passion for entrepreneurship and a strong understanding of the Ugandan business landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
- Program Management:
- Oversee the entire program lifecycle, from sourcing potential entrepreneurs to post-investment support.
- Develop and implement comprehensive program plans and timelines.
- Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness and make necessary adjustments.
- Entrepreneur Sourcing and Selection:
- Identify and source potential entrepreneurs through various channels, including online platforms, partnerships, and community outreach.
- Develop and implement a rigorous selection process to identify high-potential entrepreneurs.
- Conduct initial screening and interviews to assess entrepreneurs’ eligibility and potential.
- Training and Capacity Building:
- Organize and facilitate training programs on various topics, including business planning, financial management, marketing, and legal compliance.
- Identify and partner with external trainers and experts to deliver high-quality training.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make necessary improvements.
- Investor Relations:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with potential investors, including angel investors, venture capitalists, and impact investors.
- Facilitate connections between entrepreneurs and investors through matchmaking events, pitch sessions, and one-on-one meetings.
- Provide ongoing support to entrepreneurs throughout the investment process, including due diligence and negotiation.
- Monitoring and Evaluation:
- Track and monitor the progress of participating entrepreneurs, including their business performance, job creation, and social impact.
- Collect and analyze data to measure the overall impact of the program.
- Prepare regular reports on program activities, outcomes, and recommendations.
Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, economics, or a related field.

Proven experience in entrepreneurship, business development, or project management.

Strong understanding of the Ugandan business ecosystem and challenges faced by entrepreneurs

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills

Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.
