The International Institute of Tropical Agriculture seeks suitable Nigeria nationals for the position below at the Institute’s Headquarters in Ibadan.
Position: Electronics Technician III
Contract: 3-year renewable contract
Location: Ibadan
Closing Date: 14 November 2024
DUTIES:
- Perform housekeeping jobs to keep the workshop and tools in proper order.
- Receive phone calls for seminar and prepare a log of work done.
- Prepare solar panel installation.
- Help repair oven and maintenance of basic laboratory equipment.
- Set up sound system at Conference center and other locations.
- Coordinate sound system during functions and seminars.
- Perform any other job-related duties as may be assigned by the Supervisor.
Requirements
QUALIFICATION:
National Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or any other related field with a minimum of three (3) years’ experience performing a similar role in a well-structured environment.
COMPETENCIES:
The ideal candidate must:
- Have ability to coordinate, prioritize and organize workload.
- Have ability to use all equipment in the workshop.
