We are currently seeking an experienced and qualified Electrical Technician to join our dynamic team.
Job Description:
We are looking for an Electrical Technician with at least 5 years of hands-on experience in the electrical field to support our operations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background in electrical systems and have the capability to maintain, repair, and troubleshoot electrical installations efficiently. This position requires an individual who is proactive, has a keen eye for detail, and adheres to safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform installation, and maintenance electrical systems, equipment, and components.
- Troubleshoot electrical faults and determine effective solutions to minimize downtime.
- Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance of electrical systems.
- Ensure all electrical work is compliant with relevant safety regulations and standards.
- Collaborate with other team members to design, modify, or upgrade electrical systems.
- Provide support for electrical projects, including installation and commissioning of new systems.
- Complete electrical wiring diagrams, reports, and documentation.
- Respond to electrical emergencies and offer timely solutions.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and quality standards.
- Maintain and calibrate electrical testing equipment and tools.
- Assist in training junior technicians and provide technical guidance.
Qualifications:
- At least a Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Must be registered with the Electricity Regulatory Authority (ERA).
- Hold a valid Class C Electrical Permit.
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in electrical systems, installations, and troubleshooting.
- Strong knowledge of electrical safety standards and regulations.
- Proficiency in using electrical testing and diagnostic tools.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- A proactive and flexible approach to work.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with renewable energy systems and technologies.
- Knowledge of automation and control systems.
- Familiarity with electrical software tools for system design and diagnostics.
