Position: Electrical Specialist
Location:Nairobi, Kenya
Experience:Minimum 3 years’ hands-on Work Experience
Qualification: Diploma/HND/Degree in Electrical Engineering or Equivalent
Key Responsibilities:
- Offer engineering support, installations, testing, integration, operation and maintenance in accordance with OEM manuals
- Carry out maintenance on all electrical components of power systems such as diesel generators, PLCs, instrumentation, cabling, etc.
- Carry out corrective and breakdown maintenance activities covering generators & controls and electrical protection systems.
- Knowledge of Instrumentation, Commissioning, Calibration, and Preventive Maintenance of electrical switchgear
- Collaborate across disciplines to ensure alignment between engineering departments, clients, and vendors
- Good understanding of project drawings such as P&IDs, SLDs, schematics, and wiring diagrams
Additional Desired Skills:
- Proficient in preparing Autodesk AutoCAD drawings and schematics
- Must have ability to work from a manual to aid fault finding
- Hands-on experience with various renewable energy technologies
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations
- Valid driver’s license.

Engagement Notes:
- Travelling to sites within East Africa may be required
