Job Summary
The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining electrical systems and components to ensure the smooth operation of the hatchery. This includes overseeing the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical equipment, ensuring compliance with electrical codes and safety standards, and working closely with other departments to improve operational efficiency
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs of electrical equipment, including incubators, setters, hatchers, ventilation systems, and environmental controls.
- Maintain detailed records of electrical designs, installations, maintenance, and repairs.
- Prepare reports on system performance, incidents, and maintenance activities.
- Troubleshoot electrical faults and diagnose equipment malfunctions to ensure efficient repairs and minimal downtime.
- Design electrical systems for new hatchery projects or modifications to existing systems.
- Conduct regular maintenance checks and repairs on electrical systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Ensure all electrical systems comply with national and local electrical codes and standards
- Ensures Hatchery team complies with company QA, SHE, GHPs (Good Hygiene Practice), GMPs (Good Management Practice) and all other company SOPs & deadlines
QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field : Proficien in the ass of experience in earides engineering. prefesably in an industrial or agricultural setting.
- Experience with PLC programming and automation systems is highly desirable
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office
- Highly effective communication
- Proven ability and track record of using data to drive insights and inform effective decisions at all levels of the organization.
