Digital Marketer (Volunteer)

The Digital marketer will play a pivotal role in shaping the organization’s digital narrative. This individual will spearhead the development and management of compelling, SEO-optimized content for our website, directly influencing how our services are presented to the public. The role demands a deep understanding of digital content trends, audience engagement strategies, and the ability to craft narratives that resonate with diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute all web, SEO/SEM, database marketing, email, social media, and display advertising campaigns.
  • Optimize copy and landing pages for search engine marketing.
  • Perform ongoing keyword discovery, expansion, and optimization.
  • Develop and implement link building strategy.
  • Work with marketing teams to drive SEO in content creation and content programming.
  • Design digital marketing materials.
  • Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns and assesses against goals (ROI and KPIs).
  • Brainstorm new and creative growth strategies through digital marketing.
  • Plan, execute, and measure experiments and conversion tests.
  • Utilize strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points.
  • Identify critical conversion points and drop off points and optimizes user funnels.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in digital design, business, marketing, engineering, computer science, or related field.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in digital content creation and strategy.
  • Proven experience in SEO and web content optimization.
  • Demonstrable experience leading and, email, social media and/or display advertising campaigns.
  • Experience in optimizing landing pages and user funnels.
  • Familiarity with content management systems and digital marketing tools.
  • Must love writing and creating content.
  • Solid knowledge of website and marketing analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Net Insight, Omniture, Web Trends, SEMrush, etc.)
  • Knowledge and hand-on skills in both static and motion graphics design
