OPPORTUNITY
You will be reporting to the HSS M&E TA. You will also be responsible for ensuring complete and accurate reporting of all program data into The Foundation’s internal reporting systems including Excel Spreadsheets, SharePoint and PowerBI. You will liaise with responsible project team members to ensure data received is if high quality and consistent with government reporting.
ABOUT YOU
You will have excellent command of English (both written and spoken). You will also be proficient in Ms Office Suite, MS Excel, MS Access, and MS Word. Furthermore, you will have the ability to work in a fast-paced, self-directed environment under deadline pressures. Finally, you will have the ability to manage own workload independently, multi-task and prioritize effectively. You will also have a keen to details and you will be proactive.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support timely monthly data entry onto provided databases (SharePoint, PowerBI) across all project partners in Kenya.
- Ensure partners submit all program data including monthly and narrative reports on a timely basis
- Work closely with M&E teams to support data verification and validation at selected partner sites and compile report.
- Document and share lessons learnt during data entry, collation, and analysis for further improvements
- Design excels databases for non-core program indicators and support analysis of this data
- Ensure timely follow up of all missing reports and seek clarification from program team members.
- Effectively communicate with M&E and program team members on reporting requirements
- Provide any other project management related task upon request by members of programs
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Information Technology (IT), Computer Science, Social Sciences or related field
- Experience in designing databases.
- Excellent command of English (both written and spoken).
- Proficient in Ms Office Suite, MS Excel, MS Access, and MS Word.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, self-directed environment under deadline pressures.
- Ability to manage own workload independently, multi-task and prioritize effectively.
- Keen to details and proactive.
- Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
- Great interpersonal skills.
- Ability to travel to field when required.
