Customer Service Specialist

Job Summary

We seek a highly motivated and experienced Customer Service Specialist to join our team at the Abuja office. The ideal candidate will be customer-focused, skilled at communication, and able to handle various customer service tasks professionally. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for customers, providing guidance on solar inverter packages, battery solutions, and other products, while ensuring a seamless and satisfying experience for each client.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Support: Provide professional, prompt, and friendly customer service through phone, email, and face-to-face interactions.
  • Product Knowledge: Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of Solar Depot’s product offerings, including solar inverters, batteries, and complete solar systems, to effectively assist customers with their inquiries.
  • Customer Engagement: Address customer questions, concerns, and requests related to product details, installation processes, pricing, and promotions.
  • Order Processing: Assist customers in placing orders, tracking shipments, and resolving issues related to order status.
  • Complaint Resolution: Handle customer complaints patiently and resolve them efficiently while ensuring a positive customer experience.
  • Customer Education: Educate customers on product benefits, solar energy solutions, and offer basic technical support to aid decision-making.
  • Follow-up: Conduct post-purchase follow-ups to ensure customer satisfaction and address additional needs or feedback.
  • CRM Management: Accurately log all customer interactions in the company CRM and update customer profiles as needed.

Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a customer service role, preferably within renewable energy, technology, or related industries.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, or a related field.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with solar energy products and systems is a strong advantage; proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical details in a simple, friendly manner.
  • Customer-Oriented: Empathetic, proactive, and committed to providing a high-quality customer experience.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to stay calm under pressure, think critically, and resolve customer issues quickly.
  • Team Player: Ability to work effectively with colleagues across different departments, particularly sales and technical support.
