Job Title: Crude Oil Lifting Supervisor

About the Job

    • The successful candidate will manage all crude oil marketing and export activities for Oriental Energy including export scheduling and crude oil lifting operations at operated terminals in line with Regulatory requirements. Responsibilities
Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Managing crude oil stock levels at operated terminals and export scheduling internally with Operations as well as maintain liaison with crude marketers.
  • Managing all crude oil export operations to ensure compliance to the terminal and offtake agreements and in line with safety and operational requirements.
  • Ensuring necessary permits and clearances are secured from relevant regulatory agencies in a timely manner prior to any export operation.
  • Managing the processing of all demurrage and oil loss claims incurred as a result of crude oil export operational activity.
  • Co-ordinating the accounting of all company’s crude oil blends including crude oil export returns and to sign off reconciliation of same with relevant regulatory agencies and partners.
  • Attending OPTS meetings on behalf of the company and interface with other operators and regulatory agencies on crude oil lifting and marketing issues.
  • Managing all discharge port operations: outturn operations and cargo inspections.

Qualifications

  • Candidate should possess minimum of a University Degree from a recognized institution.

Job Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:

  • Experience in crude oil lifting and terminal operations 10 years, preferably.
  • Good knowledge of government relations, regulations, and compliance issues.
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal), negotiation, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
  • High multi-tasking skills and ability to work efficiently under pressure.
