Key Purpose Statement

The role of the Country Lead Route To Market is  developing and continuously improving the Route-to-Market structure with the aims of achieving higher efficiencies in product distribution and a sustained competitive advantage, from both a strategic and an operational view point, consistent with best practice across the country to grow the market effectively

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  1. Develop effective CDE strategies to reduce waste and achieve world class operations in terms of technology, process, people, reward, costs and CDE operations
  2. Direct and oversee the execution of CDE transformational projects to capture value
  3. Provide direction, leadership and development to ensure the execution of plans to optimise the operation and provide required customer service levels
  4. Ensure the alignment of activities within CDE and with the rest of the business
  5. Ensure standardisation and tracking of productivity measurements across the CDE operations
  6. Provide direction and leadership to teams through driving empowerment, accountability, a culture of forward thinking, innovation and continuous improvement
  7. Develop in-trade equipment plan as per channel strategy
  8. Oversee the management of all procurement, distribution, maintenance, security, SHERQ and refurbishment of all CCBA coolers
  9. Improve the overall performance of the CDE function and the Company

Experience

  1. Vast experience in managing and coordinating teams
  2. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data, identify trends, and translate insights into actionable strategies
  3. Minimum of 5  to 10 years of relevant corporate experience
  4. A track record of delivering results in a Sales role that focused on building capability
  5. Experience in multiple regions will be an advantage
  6. Sound knowledge and experience of Sales Force Effectiveness and Third-Party Management/Distribution model
  7. Excellent communication, negotiation, and an ability to build relationships and work effectively across multiple functions, business units and teams.

Education

  1. Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration,Marketing or any other business related course
  2. Masters degree will be an added advantage
