Location: Victoria Island, Lagos State
The Cost Control Associate will assist the Cost Controller in managing daily activities, overseeing food and beverage operations, and maintaining the organization’s standards. This is a professional role requiring attention to detail and adherence to company procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with end-of-day processes, including tracking and reporting for food, bar, and consumables.
- Conduct random audits, reconciliations, and control procedures to address systems and financial control issues as they arise.
- Compile and manage physical inventory routines weekly for all consumables, food, and beverage locations, verifying bar inventory levels daily.
- Verify kitchen order tickets to ensure proper reconciliation with daily sales reports for accurate usage tracking.
- Update wastage records for food and beverages in the tracker or Omega system.
- Control stock issuance from the store, ensuring appropriate requisition by coordinating with the purchaser and inventory team.
- Assist in preparing monthly and weekly consumables, food, and beverage reports.
- Update item prices at TLC following necessary price reviews.
- Support reconciliation of discrepancies in beverage items for Nest restaurant upon commencement.
- Analyze purchase orders for accrual reconciliation.
- Verify supplier or vendor invoices for price and quantity accuracy, updating the Omega system as required.
- Maintain and update supplier invoices in the control chart and reconcile account payments.
- Gather data to assist in preparing weekly food cost reports.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- At least 2 years of progressive experience as a Cost Control Associate or related work experience.
- Experience in the Hospitality Industry is an added advantage
