Job title: Corporate Accounts Manager
Organisation: K2 Telecom Limited
Duty Station: Kampala, Uganda
Main duties:
- Negotiate contracts and pricing terms with clients to secure profitable deals and maintain competitive positioning
- Set, deliver and track sales target as aligned with company business objectives
- Develop and maintain excellent knowledge and understanding of the business, competitors and industry.
- Acquire a thorough understanding of our customer needs and identifying new opportunities
- Expand relationship with existing customers by continuously proposing solutions to meet their objectives to sustain repeat business
- Generate new sales using existing and potential customer networks and own pipelines
- Developing trust relationships with a portfolio of major clients to ensure account retention.
- Managing a portfolio of accounts to achieve long term success.
- Suggest actions to improve sales performance and identify opportunities
- Provide superior customer service and ensure customer satisfaction
- Act as point of contact and handle customer’s individual needs
- Communicating and coordinating with internal teams to deliver solutions
- Consider the correct services are delivered to clients in a timely manner
- Resolve any issues and problems faced by customers and deal with complaints to maintain trust
- Prepare regular performance reports to management using key account metrics
Leadership tasks
- Taking initiative to drive results and achieve quotas
- Be able to review documentation submitted to understand customer requirements
- Manage customer relationships in terms of service level delivery
Education.
- Bachelors Degree in Business Management or any related course
- Ability to execute sales targets with other team members
- Understanding of acquisition and sales in both corporate, individual and SME market segments.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite
Experience.
- At least 3-4 years experience in direct sales with intelligent security systems & telematic technology or systems
- Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal & documentation skills
- Good organizational and time management skills and ability to work on tight deadlines
- Minimum of 3 years work experience in Direct sales environment
- Must have knowledge and experience in executing trade activations and sales pitches in offices/companies, trade fairs and door to door activities
Knowledge, Skills & Competences
- Hands on experience in direct sales, account management and an ability to deliver excellent customer experience
- Ability to function under pressure and adherence to deadlines
- Business acumen with problem solving attitude
- Team work and focus on delivering superior customer experience
