Job Title: Control Room Operator

Position Overview:
As a Control Room Operator, you will be responsible for monitoring and managing critical systems and operations within the control room environment. Your role will involve overseeing the functioning of essential infrastructure, responding to incidents, and ensuring the smooth operation of all systems in accordance with established protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
– Monitor Systems: Constantly observe and operate various control room systems, including CCTV surveillance, alarms, access control, and fire safety systems.
-Incident Management: Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, providing immediate solutions or escalating issues as needed.
-Reporting: Log and document all activities, incidents, and system alerts accurately to ensure proper tracking and compliance with regulatory standards.
-Troubleshooting: Identify and troubleshoot system faults or malfunctions, coordinating with technical teams for repairs or escalations as required.
-Compliance: Ensure all activities are carried out in compliance with company policies, legal regulations, and safety standards.
-Shift Flexibility: The role may require working on a rotational shift basis, including nights, weekends, and public holidays, to maintain 24/7 operations.
Skills & Qualifications:
Experience: Prior experience as a Control Room Operator or in a similar monitoring role is preferred.
Technical Knowledge: Basic understanding of control room systems, alarm management, and IT troubleshooting is desirable.
Problem-Solving Ability: Strong ability to react swiftly and appropriately to incidents or emergencies.
Team Player: Ability to work well in a team environment, collaborating effectively with colleagues.
Shift Work: Willingness and availability to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certification: B.Sc in Computer Science, Security or control room operation certification (e.g., SIA license, health & safety training)
Technical Skills: Experience with control room technologies (CCTV, alarms, etc.) and IT troubleshooting is a plus.
