About the Role
Trade volumes on Amana Market are projected to grow by the end of 2025. As our footprint grows, so does our exposure to risk. We are recruiting Compliance Agents to conduct surveillance over locations, individuals, incidents, and transactions to ensure the highest levels of integrity in all aspects of the business. Under the supervision of the Compliance Lead, you will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to conduct monitoring, verification, and mitigation activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Travel to the field as required to carry out work-related activities.
- Implement KYC systems and processes in the field and monitor internal adherence to guidelines.
- Verify transaction requests prior to disbursement of funds.
- Conduct field-based verification of market locations and key market personnel.
- Conduct field-based verification of incidents.
- Offer regular feedback to the Compliance Lead and other stakeholders on major and evolving risk drivers.
- Represent CoAmana to the highest standard when engaging with external actors.
- Contribute to in-house audits designed to identify and close gaps in risk management.
- Provide useful, actionable feedback to other departments e.g., product and finance.

Requirements
- Bachelors or Associate degree in commerce, business management, IT, Economics or related field.
- 2-3 years’ work experience in a similar role. (e.g. compliance in banks, auditing roles, finance or accounting)
- Proven attention to detail and risk management.
- Excellent judgment – when working with your team and external stakeholders, you listen and think carefully to arrive at the right solution.
- Integrity – Uphold the highest level of honesty and transparency.
- High energy – You will get to travel whenever it is required and set the pace for the rest of the team.
- IT skills – intermediate level Microsoft Office or Google Suite and familiarity with CRM tools (strong Excel capacity and basic data analysis is an added advantage).
- Fluency in English
