Classic Mouldings Limited, a leader in the interior design industry known for delivering high-quality and innovative products, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Professional Driver with Automotive Mechanical skills to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial in ensuring the efficient transportation of materials and personnel, as well as the maintenance of our commercial vehicle fleet.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fleet Management: Perform regular inspections and maintenance of the company’s commercial vehicles, ensuring they are always in optimal working condition.
- Transportation: Safely transport materials, equipment, and personnel to and from various project sites, adhering to strict schedules and deadlines.
- Preventive Maintenance: Utilize mechanical skills to identify and rectify potential vehicle issues before they escalate, minimizing downtime and repair costs.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and traffic regulations, safeguarding passengers, cargo, and the vehicle.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed records of vehicle usage, maintenance activities, and any incidents that occur during operations.
- Flexibility: Be prepared to work overtime when necessary to meet project demands or address urgent transportation needs.
- Professional Conduct: Exhibit honesty, reliability, and strong communication skills in all interactions with clients and colleagues.
Qualifications:
- Valid BCE Driving License: Mandatory for operating commercial vehicles.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of professional driving experience with commercial vehicles.
- Mechanical Expertise: Proven ability to perform routine maintenance and repairs on commercial vehicles.
- Clean Record: Certificate of Good Conduct required, along with a clean driving history.
- Literacy and Communication: Must be literate, with the ability to read and maintain accurate records, and possess strong verbal communication skills.
- Professional Integrity: High level of honesty and strong communication skills are crucial.
