COMMUNITY HEALTH EDUCATORS

We are inviting applications from youthful and result-oriented Community Health Educators to join our team in KENYA.

Responsibilities

  • Educate patients on diabetes and hypertension self-care through
  • group and individual sessions.
  • Enroll 50 patients weekly to Afya Pap, ensuring 100 monthly medication orders, and assist with app usage.
  • Promote affordable medication to support adherence and
  • respond to medication-related inquiries.
  • Build links with medical facilities and establish patient support
  • groups for continuous care.
  • Act as a liaison for patient follow-ups and coordinate care with clinics.
  • Support outreach events, contribute to research, and provide
  • clear activity reports.
  • Fulfill other assigned responsibilities as needed.

Requirements

  • More than 1 year experience as a peer educator or community health volunteer (Sales experience is an added advantage).
  • Good command of both spoken and written English and Swahili language.
  • Good people, communication, negotiation skills and highly collaborative.
  • Entrepreneurial and ability to work remotely with minimum
    supervision
