We are inviting applications from youthful and result-oriented Community Health Educators to join our team in KENYA.
Responsibilities
- Educate patients on diabetes and hypertension self-care through
- group and individual sessions.
- Enroll 50 patients weekly to Afya Pap, ensuring 100 monthly medication orders, and assist with app usage.
- Promote affordable medication to support adherence and
- respond to medication-related inquiries.
- Build links with medical facilities and establish patient support
- groups for continuous care.
- Act as a liaison for patient follow-ups and coordinate care with clinics.
- Support outreach events, contribute to research, and provide
- clear activity reports.
- Fulfill other assigned responsibilities as needed.
Requirements
- More than 1 year experience as a peer educator or community health volunteer (Sales experience is an added advantage).
- Good command of both spoken and written English and Swahili language.
- Good people, communication, negotiation skills and highly collaborative.
- Entrepreneurial and ability to work remotely with minimum
supervision
