Job Title: Commercial Lead (Product Launch & Market Strategy)

Location: Nigeria (Remote Working)

Job Summary

  • We are looking for a strategic and innovative Commercial Lead to spearhead the launch and commercialization of a new product line. The successful candidate will have 3–5 years of experience in commercial strategy, sales, or business development, with a proven track record of implementing go-to-market (GTM) and route-to-market (RTM) strategies. This role is vital to ensuring successful product market entry and long-term revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute GTM and RTM plans tailored to product goals and market dynamics.
  • Identify, build, and manage distribution networks and key commercial partnerships.
  • Collaborate with leadership to align sales targets with business objectives.
  • Track sales metrics and market feedback to refine commercial strategies.
  • Prepare reports and presentations for stakeholders and executive leadership.
  • Stay abreast of industry innovations and adjust tactics accordingly.
  • Analyze market trends and competitors to inform pricing and promotional strategies.
  • Lead sales planning initiatives and identify opportunities to expand market reach.
  • Manage key customer relationships and foster strong client engagement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in commercial strategy, business development, or product marketing.
  • Experience launching new products in emerging markets is highly desirable.

  • Deep understanding of GTM and RTM strategies.
  • Analytical mindset with proficiency in performance analysis tools.
  • Creative thinker with the ability to drive innovation and market differentiation.
  • Proficiency in CRM platforms, sales analytics, and business modeling tools.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
