Commercial Executive – Aviation Charter

Job Description

As the Aviation Charter Commercial Executive, you will support the organization commercial efforts and support the growth of charter and medivac divisions. Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you will drive and implement charter sales strategy globally.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and manage good relationships with current and future customers.
  • Support commercial charter sales initiatives and explore new revenue streams including development and execution of a robust sales strategy targeting key markets.
  • Manage charter bookings from inquiry to completion and post charter customer management (Manage leads, negotiations, and client relationships).
  • Generate competitive quotes for charter and medical evacuation requests. Quotes will be required on a 24/7/365 basis. The role will require an ability to work during any hours round the clock. Handle inquiries, provide quotes, and follow up diligently.
  • Follow up on charter and medevac enquiries to ensure optimum conversion rates are achieved.
  • Collaborate closely with the flight operations and scheduling team to ensure optimized fleet utilization and planning.
  • Communicate with service providers to ensure timely delivery of outsourced services at the most effective cost.
  • Generate effective lists of target customers and prospective clients.
  • Support cross-selling efforts for company products and services.
  • Pro-actively targeting the customer list through outbound sales calls & campaigns, emails, conference attendance and visits.
  • Keep up to date with market trends. Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities.
  • Ensure adequate cost control and evaluation of value for clients.
  • Demonstrate an expert understanding of the aircraft and chartering processes.
  • Flight monitoring and overseeing flight progression whatever the time.

Required Skills, Qualifications, and Experience:

  • Proven track record in commercial charter sales.
  • Strong understanding of the industry and market dynamics.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.

Additional Requirements for the role.

  • Ability to work independently on tasks and reports with minimal supervision.
  • The candidate must be willing to work on shifts including night shifts.
  • No previous criminal record or conviction.
