Coca-Cola Beverages Africa (CCBA) is the largest African Coca-Cola Bottler, accounting for 40% of all Coca-Cola volumes on the continent. In Uganda, we are currently seeking to recruit a Cold Drink Equipment (CDE) Clerkat Namanve Plant in Kampala.

 

Asa CDE Clerk, you will report directly to the Team Leader Vtrack & CDE Replacement.

 

Key Purpose Statement

The Cold Drink Equipment Clerk provides administrative and logistical support to the cold drink equipment service team. This role ensures efficient scheduling, accurate record-keeping, and smooth coordination between technicians, customers, and inventory management to maintain and repair beverage dispensing equipment.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Prepare, organize, and maintain work orders, service records, and equipment logs.
  • Create, organize, and update service work orders, schedules, and equipment maintenance records.
  • Process incoming service requests and prioritize based on urgency and resources.
  • Track warranty information and assist in filing claims for defective equipment.
  • Ensure accurate data entry into service management systems.
  • Maintain documentation for equipment warranties and service contracts
  • Track and manage inventory levels of equipment parts and supplies.
  • Communicate work orders, service details, and customer requirements to technicians.
  • Review and process completed service reports, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Monitor adherence to company policies, safety standards, and industry regulations.
  • Prepare periodic reports on service performance, costs, and inventory levels.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum requirement: Diploma in refrigeration & Air Conditioning or equivalent; additional training or certification in logistics, administration, or technical fields is a plus.
  • 1-2 years of experience in administrative or customer service roles, ideally in a technical or equipment service environment
