Job Title: Coffee Ambassador

Location: Nigeria

Job Summary

  • As a Coffee Ambassador, you will be responsible for launching & driving the growth of the coffee business by acquiring outlets across the channels including new Away-from-Home (AH) outlets, engaging customers, and delivering barista training.
  • You will play a key role in business development, ensuring high-quality coffee experiences while driving sales, profitability, and market expansion.

Responsibilities

  • Presents coffee offer to potential new outlets, mastering product range and professional machine coffee making techniques and barista coffee-related routines
  • Has full end to end ownership of NBC Coffee category under his/her area of responsibility
  • Creates sales pipeline of potential new outlets based on coffee segmentation guidelines
  • Runs contract negotiation and oversees the contract singing and renewal process with Sales channel teams.
  • Performs and monitors customer satisfaction through key KBIs
  • Has customer facing responsibilities including, basic technical knowledge of equipment, setting and adjusting coffee equipment, training of all customer stakeholders
  • Manages clear communication between customer and internal CCH stakeholders (marketing, coffee experts and technical service)
  • Market development of area/customer of responsibility (volume, growth, revenue, numerical distribution, etc.) & achieves KBIs
  • Manages the budget within agreed guidelines and ensures responsible allocation of DME, CAPEX and Repairs and Maintenance of equipment and POS materials

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Food & Beverage Management or a related field.
  • Certification in Barista Skills, Coffee Brewing, or Coffee Business Management are a plus
  • Experience within Nigeria Coffee category is must:5 years in Coffee Sales, Business Development, Or AFH Channel Activation
  • On-Trade Activation experience
  • Selling & Negotiation
  • Strong analysis & Synthesis skills.
  • Presentation skills  & Interpersonal skills.
  • Financial Acumen.
  • Experience in new customer development relevant categories: proven experience in launching or expanding a coffee brand in Nigeria
