As Childcare Supervisor you will use every day as an opportunity to make our youngest guests smile and ‘live happy’.

This position is located at our 5-star The Mora Zanzibar, Zanzibar, Tanzania. We are accepting applications from local and international candidates who hold a formal childcare qualification. Immediate start date available.

About The Job

 

  • You will create and deliver an enriching age-appropriate programme for children aged 3-12 years which focuses on a high-quality childcare offering.
  • Lead a local team in a high quality, safe environment by coaching, guiding, and managing team performance in addition to celebrating success using weekly guest feedback.
  • You also ensure that health and safety standards are always maintained to the highest quality, as set out in the childcare handbook.
  • And finally, you will support your colleagues by answering parents/guardians’ questions and solving problems at a top-class level.

About You

 

  • This role requires you have a recognised childcare qualification/education
  • 1-2 years professional experience in similar role
  • You can confidently communicate in English – other languages are advantageous but not mandatory
  • You genuinely love and have experience working with children
  • You are a great team player with experience in supporting or supervising colleagues
  • Flexible operational readiness and fulfilment of our customers’ expectations is a matter of course for you
  • Confident and professional communicating with international colleagues, children & parents/guardians
