MOP MARINE LIMITED, a leader in maritime and mining services, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chartered Accountant to join our team in Abuja. This is a full-time, on-site role for a seasoned professional who thrives on precision, excellence, and strategic impact. However, staff will be required to work from any of our offices across Nigeria from time to time.
About the Role
The Chartered Accountant will oversee critical financial operations, including:
• Financial reporting, auditing, and compliance.
• Taxation and financial management.
• Strategic financial planning and optimization.
This position requires exceptional attention to detail, technical expertise, and the ability to deliver results under pressure.
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, candidates must have:
• CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or ACA (Associate Chartered Accountant) certification.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and tax laws.
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office (especially Excel).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with teams.
• The ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Relevant work experience in accounting and auditing (minimum of 15-18 years preferred).
