Equip Africa Institute (EAI) is a premier middle-level institution accredited, licensed, and registered as a Technical and Vocational training college in accordance with the TVET Act 2013 and in line with the guidelines of the Ministry of Education. Qualification
Must Have
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
- 3 years’ experience at Grade 8 within EAI or at a similar position in a recognized academic institution.
- Must be registered as a Nurse with the Nursing Council
OR
- Higher Diploma in Nursing from an accredited institution
- Must be registered as a Nurse with the Nursing Council
- 5 years’ experience as a Nurse Assistant within EAI or at a similar position in a recognized institution
Reporting to: Centre Manager
Duties and responsibilities:
- Assessing, planning, implementing nursing interventions and evaluating patient’s /client’s outcomes.
- Providing appropriate health care services
- Providing health education and counseling to patients/clients and community on identified health needs
- Referring patients / clients appropriately
- Maintain records on patients’/clients health condition and care
- Ensuring a tidy and safe working environment.
- Keeping records of drugs, supplies and other commodities.
- Collecting, compiling and analyzing data for decision making for service delivery, planning and policy making.
- Implementation of community strategy with other health service providers.
- Carry out administrative duties as may be assigned to you from time to time
