JOB TITLE: CASHIER
Location: Kisasi, Kampala, Uganda
Job Summary:
The Little Cafe is seeking a friendly and reliable Cashier to join the team in Kisasi. The ideal
candidate will have excellent customer service skills, a keen attention to detail, and the ability to
manage transactions efficiently in a fast-paced environment. As a Cashier, you will ensure a
positive experience while accurately handling cash and electronic payments.
Key Responsibilities:
● Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service.
● Process transactions accurately and efficiently.
● Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly.
● Maintain a clean and organized cashier area.
● Ensure that all cash registers are balanced at the end of each shift.
● Assist with inventory management and restocking as needed.
● Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth cafe operations.
● Follow health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
Qualifications:
● Previous experience as a cashier or in a similar customer service role preferred.
● Strong numerical and cash handling skills.
● Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
● Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
● Basic knowledge of computer systems and point-of-sale (POS) software is a plus.
● Must be reliable, punctual, and a team player.
