Job Title: CASHIER
Location: Kisasi, Kampala, Uganda
Job Summary:
The Little Cafe is seeking a friendly and reliable Cashier to join our team in Kisasi. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, a keen attention to detail, and the ability to manage transactions efficiently in a fast-paced environment. As a Cashier, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, ensuring a positive experience while accurately handling cash and electronic payments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service.
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly.
- Maintain a clean and organized cashier area.
- Ensure that all cash registers are balanced at the end of each shift.
- Assist with inventory management and restocking as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth cafe operations.
- Follow health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a cashier or in a similar customer service role preferred.
- Strong numerical and cash handling skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
- Basic knowledge of computer systems and point-of-sale (POS) software is a plus.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and a team player.
