On behalf of our client in the filmmaking and media industry, we are looking for a competent, skilled, and experienced Business Development Officerto be based in Kampala, Uganda.
Job description
Location: Kampala, Uganda
Start date: September 2024
Our client, Aretee Studios, is seeking a dynamic Business Development Officer to identify and pursue new business opportunities. The ideal candidate will be a results-oriented individual with a proven track record in sales and relationship building. The Business Development Officer will work closely with the Founder in order to build and grow the portfolio of the company, and support execution of the business strategy in the country.
Key Roles And Responsibilities
- Identify and qualify potential clients.
- Develop and execute strategic business development plans.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis.
- Prepare and deliver persuasive presentations and pitches.
- Negotiate contracts and close deals.
- Create performance reports to present to management.
Knowledge, experience and qualifications required
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field.
- Proven track record in sales and business development.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong negotiation and closing skills..
- Ability to manage several projects at a time, taking into consideration priorities and constraints.
- Proficient in CRM and sales software, Microsoft and Google suites, and strong appeal for working with new technologies.
