
The Role
- Business Growth: Market and promote banking products, build referral networks, recruit clients, cross-sell products, and maintain a quality loan portfolio. Conduct market surveys and drive promotional campaigns.
- Loan Origination & Processing: Analyse financial status, process loan applications, assess collateral, review loan agreements, and submit reports.
- Customer Relationship Management: Address client inquiries, provide financial solutions, resolve complaints, organize client forums, and maintain positive community relationships.
- Delinquency Management: Ensure loan repayment, negotiate payment arrangements with delinquent clients, and clearly communicate loan terms.
- Compliance: Implement AML and KYC policies and ensure adherence to organizational guidelines.
The Candidate
- Minimum of 2 years of financial services experience, preferably in a Microfinance Bank.
- A minimum grade of C in KCSE., Advanced Diploma in Accounting, Economics, or a Business-related field from a recognized institution.
- Strong financial statement analysis skills and application of policies for evaluating and managing lending risks.
- Excellent presentation, loan underwriting, and product proposal development skills.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to engage effectively with senior decision-makers and market segments.
- Comprehensive knowledge of personal and SME market products and credit processes.
- Effective community outreach and engagement skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and time management abilities.
