Our model enables businesses to procure stock and pay later-we pay suppliers directly, allowing our customers to take stock, sell, and then repay us. WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU
As a Business Development Officer, your core role will be to drive product/service adoption by actively engaging potential customers in designated areas, providing tailored solutions, and ensuring timely collection of all amounts due from merchants
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Customer Engagement-promote and sell our products/services to potential customers in designated area, providing tailored solutions, and ensuring timely collection of all amount due from your merchants.
- Product Knowledge-acquire in-depth knowledge of our products/services to effectively explain their features, benefits, and value to customers.
- Sales- Drive sales by identifying leads, employing effective techniques to close deals, and consistently meeting or exceeding set targets.
- Documentation-Complete and submit KYC documentation and paperwork promptly and accurately.
- Customer Relationship Management- Cultivate lasting customer relationships by ensuring satisfaction, addressing concerns, and fostering loyalty for repeat business.
WHAT YOU SHOULD HAVE
- Diploma in Business, Marketing, or related field.
- Minimum 1 year of work experience in a similar role in the field.
- Proven experience in sales or business development, preferably within a customer-facing role.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively and build rapport with customers.
- Solid understanding of effective sales techniques and ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Flexibility to travel locally for customer visits and sales
