Position Summary: The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving sales and revenue growth by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, managing the sales cycle, and closing deals. This role requires a self-driven, strategic thinker with a passion for selling software solutions and a track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve sales targets and expand the customer base.

Identify market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to inform sales strategies.

Create and maintain a sales pipeline to ensure a steady flow of prospects and leads.

Conduct cold calls, email campaigns, and networking to generate new leads.

Qualify leads to ensure they are a good fit for our solutions.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities in the CRM system.

Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals.

Develop and deliver compelling presentations and product demonstrations to potential clients.

Prepare and present proposals, negotiate terms, and close sales.

Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships.

Understand client needs and provide tailored solutions to meet their requirements.

Act as a trusted advisor to clients, offering insights and recommendations to help them achieve their business goals.

Set and achieve sales targets and performance KPIs.

Monitor and report on sales performance, providing regular updates to senior management.

Requirements
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.

5+ experience in business development, sales, or a related role, preferably in the software solutions industry.

Strong understanding of the sales cycle, including prospecting, qualifying, presenting, and closing deals.

Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

Ability to articulate the value of software solutions to clients clearly.
