Westan Microlink Communication Ltd.,a licensed provider of interconnect exchange services, internet service provision, private network links, and IT equipment sales and installations, is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the telecommunications industry, particularly in the interconnect exchange sector, and a proven ability to identify opportunities, establish partnerships, and drive growth. This role is pivotal in expanding our market presence, fostering strong client relationships, and developing innovative strategies to enhance our operations and services.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and explore new business opportunities within the interconnect exchange ecosystem.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, including mobile operators and other telecommunications stakeholders.
- Develop and implement strategies to drive growth, align with company goals, and optimize revenue generation.
- Prepare and deliver compelling proposals, presentations, and business cases to prospective clients and partners.
- Monitor industry trends, regulatory changes, and market dynamics to identify risks and opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including technical and operations, to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Represent the company at industry events and forums, enhancing Westan Microlink’s visibility and reputation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Telecommunications, or a related field (Master’s degree is an advantage).
- Minimum of 5 years experience in business development, sales, or a related role, preferably in the telecommunications or IT sector.
- Proven expertise in interconnect exchange, ISP, or private network business operations.
- Strong knowledge of IT equipment sales and installations is an advantage.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in CRM and business development tools.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to execute effectively.
