We wish to fill in the above vacancies at our Claims Department. Details of the position are as follows:-
JOB SUMMARY
To identity new business opportunities. maintaining relationships with existing clients. and contributing to the overall strategie planning and execution of business development activities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct thorough market research to identify new business opportunities.
- Analyse market trends, competition, and potential areas for expansion.
- Contribute to the planning and execution of business development projects.
- Build relationships with primary care physicians and specialists in the area to encourage referrals to the hospital.
- Facilitate meetings and communications with potential partners and prepare business development schedules.
- Represent the hospital at industry events, conferences, and meetings.
- Explore partnerships with other healthcare providers or research institutions to offer specialized services
- Work with the client experience and billing team to ensure a high standard of patient care and retention
- Provide regular updates, prepare detailed reports and present findings and send them to the Business Development Manager and Senior Management.
- Assist in the development and implementation of strategic business plans.
- Coordinate with internal departments to ensure smooth execution of business development strategies.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. (Sales and Marketing) or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in business development, with at least 2 years in a busy hospital.
- Marketing Society of Kenya (MSK) membership will be an added advantage.
- Proficiency in computer applications.
