Afro Mobile is a streaming platform in Uganda, offering a diverse range of content, including Live TV, Podcasts, music, movies and more. Our mission is to provide users with convenient access to entertainment and information across various genres.
Job Summary:
We’re seeking an experienced and innovative Brand Manager to lead the development and implementation of marketing strategies for AfroMobile, Uganda’s premier streaming platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in brand management, marketing, and digital media, with a passion for entertainment and technology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Brand Strategy: Develop and implement comprehensive brand strategies to position Afro Mobile as the leading streaming platform in Uganda.
- Brand Identity: Manage and maintain the AfroMobile brand identity, including the logo, visual elements, tone of voice, and overall brand aesthetic.
- Marketing Campaigns: Plan, execute, and measure the success of marketing campaigns across various channels, including social media, email and traditional media.
- Content Marketing: Collaborate with the content team to develop and promote engaging content that resonates with Afro Mobile’s target audience.
- Competitor Analysis: Conduct market research and competitor analysis to stay informed about industry trends and competitor activity.
- Budgeting and Resource Management: Manage budgets, resources, and workflows to ensure efficient and effective brand management.
- Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including content providers, partners, and influencers.
- Brand Performance Analysis: Analyze brand performance using data and analytics tools, and adjust brand strategies accordingly.
Requirements:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field
- At least 3 years of experience in brand management, marketing, or a related field
- Brand Management Skills: Proven brand management skills, including brand strategy development, brand identity management, and marketing campaign execution.
- Digital Media Knowledge: Strong understanding of digital media platforms, including social media, email, and streaming services.
- Creative Thinking: Ability to think creatively and develop innovative brand strategies.
- Collaborative Mindset: Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including marketing, content, and sales.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions to optimize brand performance.
- Passion for Entertainment and Technology: Passion for entertainment and technology, with a deep understanding of the streaming industry
