Job Description:We are looking for a skilled Biomedical Technician to join our team on a contract basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for equipment maintenance, ensuring electrical safety standards, and managing the repair and maintenance of medical equipment on-site in Lagos State, Nigeria.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform routine inspection, maintenance, and repairs on medical devices and equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to minimize downtime in clinical operations.
• Calibrate equipment to meet safety and performance standards.
• Maintain detailed records of service and repairs performed.
• Collaborate with healthcare staff to ensure equipment readiness and reliability.
• Stay updated on industry standards and emerging technologies.
Qualifications:
• Diploma or degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
• Proven experience in servicing medical equipment in a healthcare setting.
• Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of medical equipment safety and regulatory standards.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with specific medical devices or systems (e.g., diagnostic imaging, patient monitors).
