Position Title: Audio Visual Technician Intern
Location: All Saints’ Cathedral, Nairobi
Reports To: Audio Visual Technician
Employment Type: Internship (Full-time/Part-time)
Role Overview
The Audio-Visual Technician Intern will assist in the setup, operation, and maintenance of audio and visual equipment
during worship services and events at All Saints’ Cathedral, Nairobi. This internship provides valuable hands-on
experience in a dynamic worship environment, ideal for individuals aspiring to build a career in audio-visual
production.
Key Responsibilities
1. Assist in setting up and testing sound systems, microphones, and other audio-visual equipment to ensure
smooth operation during worship services and events.
2. Support live sound mixing during services and special events to maintain high-quality audio experiences.
3. Prepare and manage multimedia content, such as slideshows and videos, ensuring seamless visual
presentations during services.
4. Assist in routine maintenance of audio-visual equipment to ensure optimal functionality and reliability.
5. Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues to minimize disruptions during live events.
6. Provide support during Recording of sermons and special events, ensuring high-quality audio for archiving
and future use.
7. Assist in Documenting and organizing the audio-visual inventory to improve equipment management and
operational efficiency.
8. Collaborate with the Media Team, worship leaders, and clergy to deliver a cohesive and engaging worship
experience.
9. Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance technical skills and stay updated on emerging
technologies in audio-visual production.
10. Provide support for live streaming operations, ensuring a high-quality virtual worship experience for online
congregants.
Qualifications
• Recently completed a diploma or degree in Audio Engineering, Media Production, or a related field.
Skills and Experience
• Basic knowledge of audio and visual equipment operation.
• Familiarity with live sound production and multimedia presentation tools is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Basic Live streaming and production skills
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
