Job title: Associate Manager, Logistics Transportation

About The Role

The main aim of this position is to efficiently manage the central warehouse, inventory and distribution (including import/export), between our internal facility and 3PL service providers.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure that inventory accuracy is kept at the required levels within internal and external warehouses (100%).
  • Make sure customer deliveries are done within the expected and required time.
  • Ensure the safety of the employees is kept according to the health and safety regulations
  • Overall in-charge of the security of the central warehouse and stocks at the 3rd party
  • Ensure that right preparations are done for monthly and quarterly stock taking
  • Train and motivate all staff members
  • Ensure all operations in central warehouse and external warehouse are done with minimum costs
  • Ensure that all staff put on the right gear and have the right equipment during the operations
  • Ensure housekeeping is kept at the maximum levels
  • Ensure that all accidents are recorded and reported to the company health & safety committee
  • Liaise with key stakeholders in all matters relating to receipts, issues, sales deliveries, marketing, documentation, security, accounting and different requirements and expectations.
  • Ensure high level of customer service is maintained.
  • Coordinate the movement of goods, including carrier bookings, clear and forward processes, inventory transfers, and pick-pack-ship operations between different sites.
  • Various tracking and reporting (including production forecasts, warehouse capacity, inventory reports, transport arrangements, lead times, etc.)
  • Support cross-functional team with keeping track of inventory volumes, shipments, documentation, costs, and any related risks and opportunities.
  • Identify, optimize, and implement continuous improvement and efficiency (cost saving) initiatives.

Experience You Will Bring

  • Minimum of a bachelors degree
  • 5 years’ experience in warehouse operations
  • CIPS/CLTD/CSCP/CSCM certification is a plus
  • Lean/Six sigma experience
  • Knowledge of SAP ECC/PRD
  • Advanced MS Excel skills
